Re: A bridge to far

I've been debating about this. 12 hour drive, for a one day event. Though, if I cashed in some PTO days, I could make it a 4 day weekend and get some work done on my Connex. Some paint and build the bunk beds I was going to put off until D-Day 2011.

Looking into it...

24 hour trip for me. Can't make any other Adventurepark events because of conflicts with other CEF events like Wasaga.

Haffner and I are seriously considering going. If any other commonwealth are going, I'd like to know. What side are we going to play on?

Also, the ddayadventurepark website was a little low on details. I need to know what time the game starts, what time the game ends, and if it's field paint only. If it's field paint only I need to know how much it costs and if I can use leftover paint from dday.

According to the park forums, "registration for this ONE DAY game on August 7th is $35. Paint will be $50 per case"

Any CEF personnel attending should likely play Allied...

You may be able to use left over D-day 2010 paint. You will have to ask Edd or Dewayne, I would sugest bringing it & then ask them .

Thanks for answering my questions everybody!

All I need to know now is what time it's supposed to start and end. I don't know why such basic information isn't on the website.

The smaller events are a lot more layed back, with the first game of the day starting around 9am.

Re: A bridge to far

Work is about to cause me to have a full melt down. I'm really debating about trying to get the Friday off to drive over and hit this event.

If I can make it, could you use another tank gunner?

Yes, My son will not be able to make it. So I will be looking for gunners.
